Karen Bergreen is a comedian who travels the country and performs regularly at Gotham Comedy Club, The Comic Strip and Carolines Comedy Club. She has appeared on Comedy Central, the Oxygen Network and on “Law & Order.” Karen graduated from Harvard University and then went to law school, after which she worked as a fancy pants attorney. But she didn’t want to disappoint her parents, so she quit her safe and promising law career to become a stand-up comic. Now, in an effort to make even less money, she has become a novelist. Her 2010 novel, Following Polly (St. Martin's Press), received rave reviews from the New York Times, O Magazine, and her mother-in-law. Karen Morgan was born and raised in Athens, Georgia but now calls Maine home. A former trial attorney, she began her professional comedy career as a Finalist on Nickelodeon Television’s “Search for the Funniest Mom in America.” Karen’s latest CD "Mean Candy" can be heard on Sirius XM Radio, and her comedy special "Go Dawgs" can be seen on Dry Bar Comedy.
